Potty Training Boys Made Easy
Most parents seem to accept, and expect that potty training boys is going to be difficult. After all, research suggests that potty training boys takes longer and there are more setbacks along the way. Some believe boys develop more slowly than girls, others think it is due to the fact that the primary toilet trainer is usually female leaving the boy less opportunity to imitate a male role model. Also, it's a two stage process. First they learn to urinate sitting down, then standing up.
But, potty training boys doesn't have to be a stressful event for either you or your son. Just remember, your boy is a unique individual and potty training should start only when he is ready and you are prepared. Toilet training is not something that can be rushed into.
So, how do you know when your child is ready to be trained to use a potty? There are several key signs of readiness that you should look for.
Sign 1: he can go a few hours without needing his diaper changed. He shows awareness that he needs to empty his bowels (poo). For example, he goes quiet, or has a studied expression.
Sign 2: he is able to pull up, and pull down his pants
Sign 3: he can focus on an activity for at least 5 minutes. For instance, if he is on your lap and you're reading him a story, he will sit quietly, listen and be absorbed in the storytelling.
Sign 4: he understands the words that will be used in potty training such as pee, poo, dry, wet, and wipe.
Sign 5: he understands simple instructions such as "pick up the ball and put it in the toy box".
Sign 6: he has no emotional stresses such as a new baby brother or a new home.
Sign 7: he's beginning to shows signs of independence and likes imitating people's actions.
If your son shows all the above signs then he is ready for potty training.
Next step is buy everything you'll need such as a potty, underpants, an anatomically correct boy doll that wets itself (for demonstrating), wall chart (to mark progress), small toys to celebrate successes and, of course, cleaner to mop up any little accidents.Only then should potty training begin.
I highly recommend "Potty Trained in 1 to 3 Days" . This audio guide has everything you need to know to make accelerated potty training a reality and not just a dream. The step by step process ensures you stay on track. Also being an audio course you learn about the right tone of voice to use when giving instructions to your son. And, of course, you can listen to the recording whilst you perform other tasks (having to do two things at once is not an unusual requirement for a busy parent).
With this course, potty training boys will be a fun, successful and stress free experience for both the child and parent. You and your son deserve it.

p.s. The parenting skills you'll learn in "Potty Trained In 1 to 3 Days" will be invaluable in years to come. They can be translated to so many situations in your child's development.
